Top Flight Golden Retrievers is perched on 10 acres of land sometimes known as the Gandy Dancer Ridge in NW Wisconsin, the heart of America's prime hunting country. We overlook much of the scenic Saint Croix River Valley. Our kennel name was created as a hybrid of Topbrass Kennels (who bred our wonderful foundation bitch Cali) and the Northern Flight Hunting Retriever Association (who, oh so kindly taught us to train her). Our dogs are home raised and owner handled. They possess the true "golden nose" and a love of water and retrieving that make them a joy to work with. They are tireless workers in the field and calm, bidable companions in the home.
We compete in Hunt Test and Obedience Trials and are members of the Golden Retriever Club of America, Northern Flight Hunting Retriever Association and the Saint Croix Valley Golden Retriever Club. Our dogs possess health clearances for genetic defects of hips, elbows, eyes and heart. Our pups are sold with a 24 month health guarantee. We strive to produce bird crazy pups with superior drive and trainability, while maintaining the classic golden temperament.
